Dropkick Murphys Rock Cleveland

The Dropkick Murphys are a simple working band. Described by some as the “AC/DC of Celtic punk”, their no-nonsense sound has become the no-bullshit flagship from their storied hometown of  Boston, Massachusetts. These seven rockers have, through a relentless touring schedule, become veritable ambassadors of the Bostonian ethos: take a stout shot of dockyard working class values, add a splash of barroom violence, drop it in a tall glass of classic punk attitude, and serve on top of a flaming Marshall stack. On Thursday night, in the bitter cold of another Cleveland evening, the Murphys brought their fans a sold out show sure to be the germination of a thousand stories told over a pint of Guinness.
