Greater Cleveland Metro Area has an odd tendency to churn out a steady stream of angry, sonically brilliant musical personalities for the great wide world to enjoy. Of particular note is the bloc of post-industrial production hounds surrounding seminal act Nine Inch Nails. Among these individuals, the name Sean Beavan can often be counted, branching out from working the production chair with fellow Ohio natives Trent Reznor and Marilyn Manson to working with a host of LA area heavyweights such as Thrice, Guns N’ Roses, and others. On November 30th, he brought his band 8mm to a heartfelt homecoming at the Phantasy.
