Ghost BC and Baroness Haunt Cleveland

Great musical performances come in many varieties. Some groups choose to focus their energies outward, exhorting their audiences and putting a large amount of forethought into their show’s visual elements, tweaking and refining until everything come together into a uniquely tuned whole. Other groups prefer to set their gaze inward; putting all their concentration into their internal musical dynamic, and thus allow their enthusiasm for their craft to spill over and be shared by the crowd. Both are valid approaches; the effusive performer versus the introspective craftsman. On Thursday night, the House of Blues served as the venue to allow prime examples of both paradigms to shine, along with an up and coming new talent sure to make waves in the years to come.
